Commission: Nepeta's RPS Wall

Last night I received an email from someone who commissioned me at SacAnime this past January.

"Good evening to you.

You may not remember me, but for what you've done for me, I want to thank you.
I commissioned a picture from you during SacAnime this year. I was dressed as Kanji Tatsumi and commissioned Nepeta from Homestuck drawing on her shipping wall.
Simply put: your drawing has changed my life.
I commissioned it for a friend who couldn't go to SacAnime; a girl named Sarah that I had something of a crush on. Her patron troll, the troll coresponding to her zodiac sign, was Nepeta, so I wanted to get her something relative to that. Nobody was selling any Homestuck merch, so I figured a commission would be a great alternative.
Once you emailed it to me, I sent it to her, and she loved it. That's when we started to really talk. We'd chatted here and there, but now we started talking as friends.
We talked about Homestuck, anime, other silly shit.
She started telling me more about herself, and I more about myself.
She told me about her boyfriend, I told her of my past girlfriends.
She told me about when her boyfriend did stupid shit and I helped her through it.
She told me about their arguments and I helped her stay strong.
She came to me first when they broke up just to talk to me.
I told her my feelings.
She told me hers.
Long story short, we have been together for a month now.
Your art helped me start talking with the person that I wish to spend my life with.
Best $7 I ever spent.

To think that my silly art has made such a huge impact in someone's life, I have never been more honored--or more humbled.
